“Los Angeles-based Shauna Miller is the Founder of the highly influential budget fashion blog, PENNYCHIC.com. Prior to waving her stylish wand over affordable fashion, Shauna studied at NYU and honed her skills in one of Paris’s leading fashion houses, Emanuel Ungaro, and wrote fashion reviews for Time Out NY Magazine.

PENNY CHIC teaches everyday women how to look fabulous on a budget in order to ‘splurge’ on the things that really matter in life. The mission is to make fashion accessible to everyone in the country, so instead of styling clothes from boutiques or vintage shops that no one can get their hands on, PENNY CHIC uses the stores that are within 10 miles of every home in America. We all know it’s easy to look chic when money is no object, but what’s more intriguing is the challenge of looking chic when you have a $100 budget.

FACT: I started a feminist club in high school.
