INSIDER Q & A.

W2C: What is your favorite guilty pleasure when it comes to fashion?
SL: Bags, shoes and jewelry.

W2C: What was the moment or event that inspired you to create the STYLE FOR HIRE network?
SL: When my Co-Founder, Cindy, was struggling to regain her sense of style after 2 years of having babies! We realized that it was a service everyone could use to make life a bit easier and to invest allotted wardrobe budgets more wisely.

W2C: What is your advice for the young stylist building his/her career?
SL: While still assisting, be a sponge: learn everyhting, do everything and anticipate the needs of the stylist you work for. Learn their eye first, and THEN develop your own. Don’t get into the business out of a desire for materialism or surface appearance; look deeper at style, for it is art and significance both in a business and philanthropic sense. Those are the things that keep me coming back for more.
